Three Trapped After Saturday Morning Crash In Townsend

Officials are investigating a crash that occurred early Saturday morning.

Just after 4:00 this morning a vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Union Church Road and Blackbird Landing Road in Townsend.

The accident involved multiple patients, some of whom were reported to be trapped in the vehicle. Emergency response teams were quickly dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the first responders assessed the situation and determined that three individuals involved in the accident required advanced life support (ALS) services. One of the patients was found partially trapped under the vehicle while the others were trapped in the vehicle.

The extent of the patients’ injuries are unknown at this time.
