A man was found fatally shot inside a vehicle on Kirkwood Highway near Seneca Road late Sunday. The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 PM on Sunday, just before the arrival of the New Year.
Responding to reports of a shooting in the area, rescue crews from Elsmere Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics, were dispatched to the scene.
Upon their arrival, the emergency crews discovered a man, believed to be in his 30s, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
