Magnolia Crash Traps Driver Friday Morning

Officials are investigating a crash that left a driver trapped Friday morning.

At around 10:59 AM, a traffic collision occurred near Ponderosa Drive and Plaindealing Road in Magnolia. The vehicle, reportedly found off the road and in a bog, was driven by a male driver who was initially trapped. Emergency responders worked to free the man from the vehicle for approximately 10 minutes.

Initial reports from the scene indicated signs of impact on the vehicle’s windshield and that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The patient was transported to the hospital by ambulance

Responders included Kent County Paramedics, as well as fire companies from Magnolia, Camden-Wyoming, and Little Creek.
