Wilmington Police are investigating two separate crime scenes where two men were found shot.
Wednesday afternoon two individuals were shot in a possibly related incidents. The first call for just before 2:15. Crews were first alerted when a gunshot victim approached a fire station on New Castle Avenue seeking help.
At the same time, a second report to 911 operators were alerted to a second shooting victim found on nearby S Heald Street. Both victims, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, were transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the shootings, including whether they were connected, remain under investigation
