Two Transported , One By Air After Wednesday Crash

On Wednesday, at approximately 4:23 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred on Thompson Bridge Road near Guyencourt Road, involving entrapment. Emergency crews, including New Castle County Paramedics, the Talleyville Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation, were dispatched to the scene.

The incident resulted in injuries to two individuals. A 30-year-old male, who suffered head injuries and potential internal injuries, received initial treatment from New Castle County Paramedics at the scene. Due to the severity of his conditions, he was airlifted by Delaware State Police Aviation to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, where he was listed in serious condition.

Additionally, a 32-year-old male involved in the collision was transported by the Talleyville Fire Company to the same hospital, arriving in stable condition.

The Delaware State Police are conducting a investigation to determine the specifics of the crash and any contributing factors.
