Wilmington Police Identify Victim In Fatal NorthThatcher Street Shooting

Wilmington Police have identified the individual who was fatally shot at approximately 7:28 p.m. on Monday night in the 2700 block of North Thatcher Street.

Responding officers located multiple gunshot victims at the scene. A 17-year-old male was found critically injured and was immediately transported to the hospital. Additionally, 18-year-old Yazir Tickles was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. A third victim, a 21-year-old male, arrived at the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
