Officials Update Telegraph Road Pedestrian Struck Incident

At approximately 3:48 PM, emergency services were dispatched to the 1600 block of Telegraph Road in Stanton following a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, units from the Mill Creek Fire Company found a 44-year-old female who had been hit by a sedan.

New Castle County Paramedics promptly provided medical attention, treating the patient for potential internal injuries. The critically injured woman was transported to Christiana Hospital aboard an ambulance from the Mill Creek Fire Company.

Police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident. Responding agencies included New Castle County EMS (Paramedics), Mill Creek Fire Company, and New Castle County Police.
