On Saturday morning, at approximately 11:45 a.m., first responders were dispatched to Silver Run Road in the vicinity of Old Corbit Road in Middletown following reports of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) rollover with entrapment.

Upon arrival, units from New Castle County Paramedics, Odessa Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation found a single ATV that had overturned, trapping the driver’s extremity. The operator, approximately 14 years old, received immediate medical attention.

Due to the severity of the injuries, which included extremity injuries and potential internal injuries, the young operator was transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton via Delaware State Police Aviation. He was reported to be in stable but serious condition.
