Teen Shot Multiple Times Dropped Off At Christiana Hospital

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police are currently investigating a shooting that took place on Monday evening in the 100 block of Flamingo Drive, within the Sparrow Run neighborhood. According to a statement released by officials, a 17-year-old male was admitted to Christiana Hospital at 9:49 p.m. with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, who was dropped off at the hospital in a personal vehicle, received immediate medical attention and is now in stable condition according to police.

Upon investigation, officers determined that the shooting occurred on Flamingo Drive, where they subsequently located the crime scene. Detectives from the Division’s Major Crimes Unit and Evidence Detection Unit were dispatched to continue the investigation.
