Police: Second Suspect In Shooting That Injured A 15-Year-Old In Custody

The Delaware State Police have arrested 18-year-old Tyler Morrison of Delmar, Delaware for a shooting that occurred in Seaford in May.

Officials said on May 29, 2024, at approximately 6:21 p.m., troopers responded to a home on the 26000 block of Kelly Circle in Seaford for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they learned that two unknown suspects fired several rounds at an occupied house and injured a 15-year-old girl. Through investigative means, detectives identified Lukas and Tyler Morrison as the suspects in the shooting. On May 31, 2024, detectives arrested Lukas and continued their search for Tyler.

On July 3, 2024, Tyler Morrison was arrested and taken to Troop 5, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $131,500 cash bond.

Delaware State Police have arrested 20-year-old Lukas Morrison of Georgetown, in connection with a shooting that took place in Seaford.

Officials said the incident occurred on May 29, 2024, at approximately 6:21 p.m. Troopers responded to a report of a shooting at a home on the 26000 block of Kelly Circle. Upon their arrival, they discovered that two unknown suspects had fired several rounds at an occupied house, injuring a 15-year-old girl. She was transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to her foot.

Through investigative means, detectives identified Lukas and Tyler (pictured Right) Morrison as the suspects. On May 31, 2024, Lukas Morrison was arrested, while the search for Tyler Morrison continues. Lukas Morrison was taken into custody at Troop 4, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $130,000 cash bond.

Lukas Morrison is charged with Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, seven counts of Reckless Endangering 1st Degree, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, and two counts of Criminal Mischief. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue their search for Tyler Morrison. He is described as 18-year-old, 6’00”, 170 lbs.
