Rollover Crash Traps One In Georgetown

Just before 9:30 Monday evening, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a rollover crash with entrapment in the area of 22383 Lewes Georgetown Highway in Georgetown.

Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle overturned with an occupant trapped inside. Crews worked for roughly ten minutes before they were able to free the patient. One patient was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The condition of the patient has not been disclosed.

Dispatched units included Georgetown Fire Company, Milton Fire Department Sussex County Medics, Georgetown, and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 2.
