Milltown Accident Leaves Pedestrian In Critical Condition

County Detectives are currently investigating a motor vehicle crash where a pedestrian was struck Fridau evening.

Officials said on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 7:13 p.m., patrol officers responded to Milltown Road and Pecksniff Road regarding a crash investigation. Officers arrived at the scene and located a 58-year-old male victim who had been struck by a 2024 Hyundai Palisade.

The male victim was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. The operator of the Hyundai, a 42-year-old male, remained at the scene and was not injured. Investigators from the Traffic Services Unit later arrived and assumed the investigation. It does not appear speed or alcohol is a factor; however, this remains an active case police said.
