Pedestrian Crash Closes Route 13 In Smyrna

Early Friday morning, shortly after 5:50 a.m., rescue crews from the Citizen’s Hose Company of Smyrna, along with Kent County Paramedics, were dispatched to the scene of a pedestrian accident at the intersection of South DuPont Boulevard and Spring Meadow Drive in Smyrna.

Due to the nature of the incident, investigators have closed the road to conduct their investigation. The closure is expected to be extended, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
