Woman Pinned Between Two Vehicles Saturday

A 32-year-old woman was seriously injured this morning after being struck by a vehicle in the unit block of Old Harmony Road. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:25 a.m., according to NCCEMS Assistant PIO Leslie Antonelli-Hobbs.

The incident occurred when the woman, who was walking between two parked cars, was pinned between them after one of the vehicles rolled back. Responders from New Castle County Paramedics and the Mill Creek Fire Company arrived to find her with significant injuries, including trauma to her extremities and potential internal injuries.

The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by Mill Creek Ambulance. She was reported to be in serious condition upon arrival at the hospital.

Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
