I-95 Crash Sends One To Hospital Monday

At approximately 6:50 this morning, New Castle County Paramedics, along with Five Points and Minquadale Fire Companies, responded to a crash on I-95 Southbound near Little Mill Creek Bridge.

Crews responding to the crash were told the driver was trapped. However, upon arrival crews reported no entrapment at the scene.

Initial reports indicate that a woman in her twenties collided with a safety barrier while driving southbound. She was transported to a nearby hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Motorists were delayed while crews worked to treat the patient and clear the accident.
