On Sunday, November 3, 2024 at approximately 9:49 pm, Milford Police responded to the 200 Block of Tull Way in reference to a domestic-related stabbing.
Officials said officers located a female victim and rendered first aid until she was transported to an area hospital. She is listed in critical, but stable condition.
Earlier this month, the Milford Police Department took to social media seeking assistance in locating the suspect identified as Derrick Legree, 37 of Milford.
On Monday Legree was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force in Philadelphia.
Legree will be extradited back to Delaware where he will be formally charged with Attempted Murder and other felony charges in connection with the incident.
