The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a warehouse in New Castle yesterday evening.
Officials said on January 28, 2025, at approximately 5:21 p.m., troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a warehouse in the 100 block of Cirillo Circle in New Castle. Troopers said an unknown male suspect entered the business and began loading a bag with electronic devices stocked at the business.
A employee at the warehouse confronted the suspect, and a struggle ensued, during which the suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then fled from the business towards a wooded area behind the industrial park with the stolen merchandise.
