The Delaware State Police arrested 19-year-old Jonathan Nock, of Wilmington, along with two 14-year-old males from Newark, in connection with a strong-arm robbery that took place in Wilmington on Sunday afternoon.
Authorities responded to a report of a robbery on March 9, 2025, at approximately 1:55 p.m. on the 400 block of Maryland Avenue. Upon arrival, troopers learned that a 19-year-old male victim had been walking along the sidewalk when three unknown male suspects approached him and demanded his belongings police said. When the victim refused to comply, one of the suspects struck him in the head before stealing his property according to police. The three suspects then fled the scene on foot.
During the investigation, the suspects returned to the area and were taken into custody by troopers without incident. They were later identified as Jonathan Nock and two 14-year-old males.
All three suspects were transported to Troop 2, where they were charged with multiple offenses. Nock was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy, both felonies. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $16,000 secured bond.
One of the 14-year-old suspects was charged with the same offenses, arraigned, and released to a guardian on an $8,000 unsecured bond. The second 14-year-old suspect faced identical charges but was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on an $8,000 cash bond.
