Claymont, DE – The Delaware State Police have arrested 66-year-old Gregory Davis of Wilmington in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in August 2024 at the M&T Bank in Claymont.
The robbery took place on the morning of August 5, 2024. At approximately 10:45 a.m., troopers responded to a reported robbery at the M&T Bank located at 3530 Philadelphia Pike. According to investigators, a male suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to a teller. The employee complied, and the suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6’2” to 6’4” tall, with a thin build and wearing dark-colored clothing. Despite an immediate search of the area, troopers were unable to locate the individual.
Following an extended investigation, authorities identified Gregory Davis as the suspect and subsequently took him into custody police said. Details surrounding the circumstances of his arrest and the specific evidence leading to his identification have not been released.
