Milford Man Killed In Harrington Accident Friday

File

A 64-year-old Milford man died following a two-vehicle crash Friday night in Harrington.

According to Delaware State Police, the collision occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. on October 31, 2025, when a Ford Fusion traveling northbound on South Dupont Highway entered the center crossover, preparing to turn left onto Tower Hill Road. At the same time, an Infiniti G37 was traveling southbound in the right lane approaching the intersection.

Investigators said the Ford crossed into the path of the Infiniti, resulting in a collision that caused the Ford to leave the west edge of the roadway and strike a utility pole. The driver of the Ford was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The 19-year-old Milford man driving the Infiniti was also taken to an area hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

South Dupont Highway was closed for approximately four and a half hours while members of the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit investigated and cleared the crash scene.
