Trooper Rushed To Hospital After Crash Thursday Morning

A Delaware State Police Trooper was transported to the hospital following a crash Thursday morning in New Castle County.

The incident occurred shortly before 7:00 a.m. in the area of Mt. Lebanon Road and Rockland Falls Road, where a marked police vehicle reportedly struck a wall. The trooper was found inside the vehicle following the impact.

Multiple emergency units responded to the scene and provided assistance.

The trooper was taken from the scene to the trauma center for medical treatment. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
