Police: Three Delaware Men Charged In Lincoln University Fatal Homecoming Robbery

Three Wilmington men, including a 17-year-old charged as an adult, have been arrested in connection with the deadly mass shooting during homecoming festivities at Lincoln University in October 2025.

The Chester County District Attorney’s Office and Chester County Detectives announced that 20-year-old William Sells, 17-year-old Karon Rollins, and 19-year-old Makaveli Valera are charged with second-degree murder, robbery, conspiracy, and related offenses stemming from the shooting that left one person dead and multiple others injured.

Authorities allege the three traveled from Wilmington to the university campus armed with firearms and carried out robberies targeting attendees during the school’s homecoming celebration before the violence erupted.

Investigators said the shooting occurred on October 25, 2025, shortly after 9:00 p.m. in the parking lot near the International Cultural Center building while thousands of people were on campus for festivities. Seven people were struck by gunfire, including Sells.

One victim, identified as Jujuan Jeffers, died after suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

According to investigators, detectives used public tips, social media posts, Instagram direct messages, text messages, photographs, and videos to place the suspects at the scene and allegedly connect them to the robberies and shooting.

Authorities also said Rollins was arrested by the Wilmington Police Department on January 3, 2026, while allegedly in possession of a chain and pendant reported stolen during one of the robberies connected to the homecoming event.

A fourth defendant, Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, who had previously been arrested on a firearms charge in October 2025, is now additionally charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment related to the shooting.

All three primary defendants are currently being held in Delaware awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

The investigation remains led by Chester County Detectives with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police, Delaware State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Wilmington police.
