Happening Now: 16-Year Old Transported To AI DuPont After Being Shot


Wilmington – On Thursday April 20, 2017 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Wilmington Police Department patrol officers responded to the 2900 block of N. Washington Street in reference to a report of a shooting victim.

Upon arrival officers located a 16-year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound to the left leg. The victim was treated on scene and transported to the AI Dupont Hospital where he is currently in stable condition.
