Pokémon GO Player Robbed In Dover

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred early Sunday morning.  a 20-year-old male was playing the popular Pokemon GO game in the area of Legislative Avenue when a group of three black males called out to him.  The victim, believing they were there to play the game as well, approached them.  When the victim approached, the victim was assaulted  as the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from his pockets and a gold necklace before fleeing toward Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

The Dover Police Department encourages game players to be aware of your surroundings and alert at all times.  Players should void playing near roadways and  in areas you are not familiar with, especially at night or in areas not heavily populated.
