Dover Police Respond To Shots Fired Call

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting of a residence in the Village of Westover development that occurred on Sunday night.  At approximately 11:45 PM, officers responded to the 300 Block of Charring Cross Drive for a shots fired call.  When they arrived, they observed that a residence in that area was struck by a shotgun round.  The home was occupied at the time, but no injuries resulted from the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
