Police Investigating Shooting

 

Wilmington – On Monday (October 18) at about 10:15p.m., police were called to an area hospital in reference to a shooting victim that had just arrived via personal vehicle, according to New Castle County Police Spokesman JP Piser.

Upon arrival, police contacted the victim and learned that the victim was confronted by a suspect in the area of Surrate Park at approximately 10:00 p.m. that night.  The victim advised that the suspect attempted to rob him, at which time he fled and was subsequently shot.  He was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
