Camden Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Camden – Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Camden area liquor store which occurred late last night, according to  Director of Public Information Sergeant Richard D. Bratz.

Bratz said the that approximately 11:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016, two male suspects entered the Marvel Liquor store located at 3086 South State Street in Camden. The suspects approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk. One suspect displayed a hand gun and the other brandished a knife, said Bratz.

The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. The second suspect removed items from the store shelves before both suspects fled in an unknown direction. The employee was not injured, according to Bratz.

The suspects were described as black males, approximately 5’10”-6’0” tall, weighed approximately 160-180 pounds with average builds. Both suspects were dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered.
