Newport – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a fatal crash involving a single vehicle on East Newport Pike in the area of Fallon Road that occurred around 2:56 p.m. this afternoon, Thursday, December 15, 2016. One person has died as a result of this crash.
East Newport Road in the area of the crash was closed in both directions for approximately 45 minutes for emergency vehicles. Commuters are advised to use caution and if possible seek alternate routes of travel.
