New Castle Shell Station Robbed

New Castle – Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a New Castle area Shell gas station that occurred last night, according to State Police Spokesman Sergeant Richard D. Bratz.

Bratz said that at approximately 9:03 p.m., Sunday, December 11, 2016, as a man entered the Shell gas station/foot mart located at 299 Christiana Road, New Castle and demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to him. The suspect then exited the business and fled westbound. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as a black male. He was 5’10”-6’00” tall, weighed 160-200 lbs., and was last seen wearing dark clothing and had a mask covering his face. There is no further physical or clothing description available.
