Police Investigate Shots Fired In Newark

Newark – The New Castle County Police are currently investigating an incident in which a car and a home were damaged as a result of gunfire, according to New Castle County Police.

On Wednesday evening at approximately 7:30 p.m., New Castle County Police responded to the unit block of Raven Turn in Sparrow Run for the report of a shots fired complaint. There were no reports of injuries, but officers did observe damage to the home and a vehicle nearby.

Witnesses reported seeing two dark vehicles leaving the area after the shooting.
