Trio Arrested In Double Shooting Case

The Dover Police Department has arrested three suspects in the double shooting that occurred on December 23rd. The suspect vehicle was located at a residence in the Capitol Park neighborhood on Saturday night and the following suspects were taken into custody without incident, according to Dover Police Public Information Officer Mark Hoffman.

Dover – The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two brothers wounded on Friday night, December 23rd, 2016, according to Dover Police Public Information Officer Mark Hoffman.

Hoffman said that at approximately 7:40 p.m., the two victims,from Magnolia, were in the Capital Green development, in the alley between Sussex Avenue and Collins Drive, when they were shot by a black male suspect.

The suspect is described as wearing a tan coat, a mask, jeans, and is approximately 5’9″ and 140 pounds, said Hoffman.  The suspect fled in a white Buick Rendezvous after the shooting.  Through further investigation, it was learned that the tag number for the suspect vehicle is Delaware Registration: PC103192.  Anyone who sees this vehicle should contact police immediately.

The victims are being treated at Kent General Hospital and are in stable condition at this time.
