Two Men Shot In Dover

Dover – A 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old man are being treated for gunshot wounds following a shooting that reportedly occurred in the first block of S. New Street in Dover on Friday morning, according to police.

Police said that at approximately 1:49 a.m, the two men were dropped off at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital in two separate vehicles with one suffering a gunshot to the abdomen and the other being struck twice times in his lower extremities and once in the forearm.

Neither of the men’s injuries are life-threatening, according to medical officials.  During a preliminary investigation, the men advised officers that the incident occurred in the first block of S. New Street, but did not provide further details.
