Hoffman said that at approximately 7:41 p.m., Phillip Plummer entered the store wearing a partial ski mask and a red hat demanding money from the clerk. Plummer, who’s hand was in his coat, threatened to use a gun if they did not comply, said Hoffman.

Plummer then grabbed the register and slammed it on the ground, taking the money from inside before fleeing, according to Hoffman. Responding officers located Plummer a short distance away and took him into custody without incident, said Hoffman.

Plummer was charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Wearing A Disguise During Commission of Felony, and Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 and was committed to JTVCC on $33,500 secured bond.
