Family Dollar Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Frederica – The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a dollar store in Frederica that occurred last evening, Delaware State Police according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

Fournier said that at approximately 9:02 p.m., Monday January 16, 2017, two male suspects, one armed with  handgun, the other armed with e shotgun, entered the Family Dollar Store, located at 126 Front Street. The two approached two store employees and demanded cash, said Fournier. The employees complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then exited the store and fled in an unknown direction. The clerks were not injured.

The first suspect was described as black male wearing all black clothing with a black mask over his face. Armed with an unknown type handgun.

The second suspect was described as a black male wearing all black clothing with a black mask covering his face. He was armed with an unknown type shotgun.
