Man Who Fell From Hockessin Rooftop Today In Critical

Hockessin – New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched around 12:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, January 31, 2017, for a person who had fallen at the 600 block of Yorklyn Road in Hockessin, according to New Castle Countey Spokesman Paramedic First Class Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said that when Paramedics arrived they found the patient, a 28 year old male, with head injuries. The patient had fallen from the roof of a building about ten feet high. The patient was transported to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police helicopter. The patient is critical at the time of transport.

New Castle County Police Department are investigating the accident.
