Police Searching For Middletown Shooting Suspects

Middletown – On Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Middletown officers responded to the parking lot area of the Dove Run Shopping Center, Route. 299, Middletown in reference to a shots fired complaint involving two subjects in motor vehicles, according to Middletown Police Spokesmand Captain Michael J. Iglio.

Iglio said that the shots fired involved two subjects who were in the parking lot of the Dove Run Shopping Center. Both subjects exited their respective vehicle(s) and discharged their firearm(s) at each other, said Iglio.

Both subjects then fled the area in a dark colored sedan with tinted windows and a champagne sports utility vehicle. The subject’s whereabouts are currently unknown.

There is no indication of any injuries to anyone at this time. The investigation is on-going and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective Julia Fabbroni at 376-9950 or Crime Stoppers at 800-847-3333.
