13-Year-Old Assaulted In Dover Robbery

 

A 13-year-old male was assaulted during a robbery on Saturday evening in the parking lot of Dollar Tree at 261 N. DuPont Highway, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said while walking in the area, the male victim was assaulted by two male suspects, striking him in the head and torso, knocking him to the ground.

The suspects then stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim and fled southbound on foot.

The victim, with parents decision, did not seek medical treatment.

The suspects were described as black males with one wearing light color jeans, black jacket, white t-shirt, and black shoes. The second suspect was wearing black jeans and a white hooded sweatshirt.
