Man Exposes Himself To UD Student

On February 2, 2017 Newark Police responded to the area of East Main Street and South College Avenue in reference to an indecency complaint, according to Newark Police Spokesman Lieutenant Fred Nelson.

police-newarkThe victim, a 22-year-old female University of Delaware student, reported that sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. she was walking on the sidewalk of East Main Street when a vehicle pulled up next to her.

The victim stated that the driver asked her for directions and proceeded to pull down his pants exposing his genitals to her, said Nelson.  The suspect then drove off in what was described as a light colored passenger car, possibly a Toyota.  She described the suspect as a white male with dark skin, scruffy beard, dark hair, wearing a light colored plaid shirt.
