Man Shot In Face In Wilmington

Wilmington – On Saturday, February 11, 2017 at approximately 4:03 p.m., Wilmington Police Officers were notified of a 30-year-old male shooting victim who had arrived via private vehicle at the Wilmington Hospital Emergency Room, according to Wilmington Police.

Officials said that the victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left cheek area of his face and is described as being in stable condition.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was shot in the 1100 block of B Street, officials said. Wilmington Police officers were able locate the shooting scene on B Street, according to authorities
