Man Trapped In Vehicle After Accident In Greenville

Greenville- On Thursday, February 23, 2017 at approximately 4:45 a.m. the New Castle County Paramedics and Talleyville Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Buck Road and NCC-PARAMEDICMontchanin Road in Greenville for a motor vehicle crash with a possible subject trapped, according to to New Castle County Paramedic Spokeswoman Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said that County Paramedics arrived at the scene to find the patient, a 52-year-old male, trapped in his vehicle and complaining of a left leg injury. Rescue personnel from the Talleyville Fire Company extricated the patient from the vehicle. The patient was transported to the Christiana Hospital via Talleyville Fire Company ambulance with County Paramedics. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport, according to Russell.

Delaware State Police are investigating the incident.
