Pedestrian Struck Struck On Route 40 In Bear

 

Bear – On Wednesday,February 22, 2017 New Castle County Paramedics and Christiana Fire Company were dispatched around 11:15 for a pedestrian struck at the 1100 block of Pulaski Highway in Bear, according to to New Castle County Paramedic Spokeswoman Yvonne T. Russell.

PEDESTRIANRussell said that County Paramedics arrived to find the patient, 28-year-old man, in care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from Christiana Fire Company. Patient sustained injuries to his right foot. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via ambulance from Christiana Fire Company accompanied by County Paramedics.

The patient is in stable condition at the time of transport, said Russell.

Delaware State Police are investigating the accident.
