Milford Police Foot Patrol Leads To The Arrest Of Three On Drug Charges

Milford – On Saturday, February 18, 2017 foot patrols in the Brightway Commons apartment complex resulted in the arrest of three individuals, according t0 Milford Police Spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten.

Mastren said that the first incident occurred at approximately 7:57 pm, when officers conducting foot patrol made contact with the occupants of a vehicle after it was suspected they were possibly consuming marijuana.

Further investigation resulted in the seizure of 10.9 grams of suspected marijuana. Aaliyah M. Whaley, 22 of Milford, and Tikeesha M. Williams, 21 of Lincoln, were both charged with Possess / Consume Marijuana, according to Masten.  The pair were released after being issued criminal summons.

Masten said that a second incident occurred as officers were conducting a foot patrol at approximately 11:30 pm. Officers once again contacted occupants of a suspicious parked vehicle after smelling an odor of what appeared to be marijuana. Further investigation located 1.2 grams of suspected marijuana, said Masten. Souljah M. Riley, 21 of Milford, was also issued a criminal summons for Possess / Consume Marijuana and released.
