Pedestrian Struck In Wilmington

 

Wilmington – On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, New Castle County Paramedics along with Five Points Fire Company were dispatched around 8:30 p.m. to the intersection of South DuPont Road and North Maryland Avenue for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, according to New Castle County Paramedic Public Information Officer, Yvonne T. Russell.

PEDESTRIANRussell said that responding County Paramedics found the patient, a 65-year-old female, with foot and ankle injuries. The patient was treated on scene and transported, in stable condition, via Five Points Fire Company ambulance to Wilmington Hospital, Russell said.  The patient was cared for by County Paramedics and was stable at the end of the transport.

Delaware State Police are investigating the accident.
