Three Injured In Serious Crash In Newark

Newark – The New Castle County Police responded to the intersection of Four Seasons Parkway and Summer Park Crescent in Newark for a serious two car crash, according to New Castle County Police Spokeswoman Tracey Duffy.

accident-stock-mainDuffy said that the County Police Traffic Services Unit responded to a two car crash on Four Seasons Parkway at approximately 5:00 p.m. yesterday, February  21, 2017, afternoon.

The investigation revealed the 71-year-old operator of a 1990 Oldsmobile Ciera was traveling westbound on Four Seasons Parkway when it attempted to make a left turn onto Summer Park Crescent striking a 2016 Nissan Altima traveling eastbound, said Duffy.

Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage.

The 71-year-old operator was transported to the hospital where she is currently listed in stable condition. The 43-year-old operator and her teenage passenger were also treated for minor injuries.
