Update: Suspicious Package, Police Close N. Harrison Street In Wilmington

UPDATE: Suspicious Package Deemed Safe – All Roads Open to Traffic The road closures associated with the earlier reported suspicious package investigation are now open and traffic is flowing normally. The package was deemed safe by the Wilmington Police Department Explosive Ordinance Device Team.

The Wilmington Police Department Uniform Services Division is advising area motorists of road closures associated with a suspicious package investigation  in the 300 block of N. Harrison Street.

The following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic : W. 4th Street both Eastbound and Westbound from N. VanBuren Street to N. Franklin Street, W. 5th Street from N. Van Buren Street to N. Harrison Street, and W. 3rd Street at Franklin Street northbound.
