17-Year-Old In The Hospital After Being Shot Multiple Times

Wilmington – On Thursday March 23, 2017 at approximately 8:33 p.m. ,Uniform Services Division officer’s responded to the area of 6th and Pine Streets in reference to a Shot Spotter notification of gunfire, according to police.

Officials said that arriving officer’s located a 17-year-old male in the 600 block of Pine Street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his abdominal and left foot areas.

The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County Paramedics and transported to the Christiana Hospital in stable condition. There is no suspect information available at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
