39-Year-Old Man Executed In Wilmington

Wilmington – Wilmington Police are currently investigating the death of a 39-year-old man that occurred last night, Wednesday March 8, 2017 at approximately 8:49 p.m., according to Wilmington Police.

Officials said that Officers responded to the area of Cedar and Marshall Streets in reference to reports of a person down, possibly shot. Arriving units located a man in the 900 block of Marshall Street who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County Paramedics and transported to the Christiana Hospital Emergency Room where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation remains active and ongoing at this hour. Anyone with information relative to this incident is asked to call Detective Justin Kreysa at 302-576-3620.
