ATM Kidnapper May Have Struck Again

Glen Mills, PA. – Just one day after a Newark woman narrowly escaped becoming the ATM Kidnapper’s third victim, a Pennsylvania woman was attacked outside her Delaware County home.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the attack that occurred on Tuesday March 7, 2017, according to State Police Spokesman Trooper First Class Timothy Greene.

Greene said that a masked man attacked a 65-year-old woman, at gunpoint, outside of her Madison Apartment Homes apartment, on Tuesday. The woman was entering her home when the unknown man approached the her with a handgun. The woman fought with the masked assailant causing him to flee, according to Greene.

The complex is located on Coventry Lane in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, just five mile across the Delaware state line and only 10 miles from the Top Of The Hill Apartments, where the first incident occurred.

Pennsylvania investigators can’t be sure that the case is connected to the Delaware cases, but due to the similarities they have been in contact with New Castle County Police, according to Greene.

Police said the the victim was not injured.
