Edgemore 7-11 Store Robbed For The Sixth Time

Wilmington –  Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Wilmington area 7-11 store that occurred yesterday morning,according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Jeffrey R. Hale.

Hale said the initial investigation has determined that the incident happened at approximately 6:20 a.m. yesterday, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, as a male suspect entered the 7-11 store located at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard, Wilmington.

He then approached the sales counter and presented the female clerk with a demand note for cash, according to Hale. The suspect also implied that he was armed, however, he did not display a weapon, said Hale.

The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him. Hale said that the suspect then demanded cigarettes as well, and after receiving them, he exited the store and fled in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect was described as a black male 25-35 years of age. He was 5’06”-5’10” tall, weighed 190-220 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jeans, a black jacket, and a red hooded sweatshirt. There is no further physical or clothing description available.

Happening Now: State Police Searching For Edgemore 7-11 Robber

Wilmington – Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of an Edgemoor area convenience store that occurred early this morning, according police scanner traffic.

The incident happened at approximately 6:20 a.m. today, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, as a male suspect entered the 7-11 located at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard.

The suspect approached the sales counter and confronted a store employee, implying that he was armed with a weapon, police scanner traffic.

The suspect is described as 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall with a  stocky build. Approximately 35-years-old wearing a red hoodie under a black jacket, black pants, black shoes. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

This is not a reprinted story. This is the 6th robbery of this location in recent months. In January a car crashed into the store before backing up and fleeing.
