Wilmington Man Shot In The Head In Broad Daylight, In Critical

Wilmington – Wilmington Police Department Uniform Services Division officer’s and Criminal Investigations Division Detectives remain on the scene of a shooting investigation in the 2300 block of N. Claymont Street.

At approximately 4:08 pm, today, March 28, 2017, police units responded to a shots fired complaint in the area of the 2300 block of N. Claymont Street.

Arriving officers located an adult male down in the block suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County Paramedics and transported to the Christiana Hospital Emergency Room in critical condition.
